To maintain balanced instrumentation and high-quality performances, we periodically hold auditions for musicians when there are vacancies. The secretary will place individuals who wish to join the Bangor Band in a section that does not have a vacancy on a waiting list and notify them when an opening arises.
We generally hold open rehearsals to fill vacancies in mid-September, January, and May, when each rehearsal continuum begins.
We anticipate our next round of vacancies to include:
- Percussion (2 positions)
- Clarinet 3 (2 positions)

Rehearsals
Rehearsals are held every Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on the University of Maine campus in the Class of 1944 Hall, Room 100.
